Revision of Conditions of Contract and Conditions of Carriage

On December 30th, 2009, due to an amendment of the Cargo Services Conference (CSC) Resolution 600b, the Conditions of Contract printed on the reverse side of Air Waybills and ANA Conditions of carriage will be revised as follows.

1. Effective Date

: Revised Conditions of Contract on the reverse side of Air Waybills will be effective for Air Waybills issued on/after December 30, 2009.

2. Background

: Change in liability limits under the Montreal Convention 1999 (MC99) from 17 SDR to 19 SDR requiring revision of Conditions of Contract on reverse side of the Air Waybills and ANA Conditions of Carriage. (Subject to government approval)

3. Measures

: Transition provisions advised by IATA Memorandum 003/2009 allow for continued use of current Air Waybills after the change takes effect, provided that the amended Resolution 600b will supersede any liability limitation set forth on such Air Waybills.
The new Air Waybills will be distributed after current stock has been depleted.

4. Other Side Information

:ANA Conditions of Carriage will be posted on ANA CARGO website after the government approval.
