ANA Pilots' Union Calls Off Strike
- negotiations still underway with unions at subsidiaries -

TOKYO March 23, 2006 - ANA has been informed by its pilot union – All Nippon Airways Crew Association - that the 24-hour strike action planned to commence at 00:00 today, was called off at 23:59 yesterday, March 22.

However, negotiations are still underway with the unions of Air Nippon, Air Nippon Network, Air Next and Air Central. If they go ahead with strike action, 155 of 863 domestic flights on March 23, or 18% of flights operating under the ANA flight code, will be subject to cancellation or delay.

Passengers intending to take ANA domestic flights today are kindly requested check the status of their flights with the ANA Reservations Center (0120-029-222), on ANA Skyweb (www.ana.co.jp) or by contacting any ANA branch.

Air Nippon, Air Nippon Network, Air Next and Air Central extend their sincere apologies for the inconvenience this will cause to customers and appreciate their understanding and patience.

Number of flights affected: 155 of 863 (18%)

International Flights Affected:

None. All flights operating as normal

All domestic and international flights will operate as normal from Friday, March 24.
