ANA and Virgin Atlantic Launch Round the World Fare

September 20, 2006-ANA has teamed up with Virgin Atlantic to offer special Round the World (RTW) fares utilising the networks of both carriers. Designed to offer greater choice to customers travelling from Japan, the UK or the USA, this new travel product will allow them to make a compete tour of the world at very favourable rates, and enjoy the superior levels of service for which ANA and Virgin are renowned.

Furthermore, members of ANA Mileage Club (AMC) and Virgin Atlantic’s flying club will be eligible to accrue and redeem mileage on flights of either airline when using the new RTW fare, thanks to a mileage programme tie-up that ANA and Virgin Atlantic started in June 2003.

“We are very pleased to take a further step in an already successful partnership with Virgin Atlantic, giving more options, flexibility and benefits to customers whose itineraries take them around the world, either for business or pleasure” said Shinichiro Ito, ANA’s Executive Vice President, Marketing & Sales.

Passengers departing Japan can enjoy RTW fares of ¥335,000 for travel in Economy Class and ¥625,000 for travel in New Style Club ANA business class or Virgin Atlantic’s Upper Class. Sample RTW itineraries are as follows (NH designates ANA flights, VS Virgin Atlantic flights):
