TOKYO July 31, 2009 - More than 1.4 million passengers are booked to travel with ANA during the peak of the Japanese summer vacation period, which is based around the traditional Obon holiday and this year falls between Friday, August 7 and Sunday, August 16, inclusive.
1,300,825 million passengers will travel on domestic routes, with Kyushu and Okinawa being the most popular destinations. This is 9.9% fewer passengers than in the previous year.
The most popular destinations with the 146,256 passengers booked on ANA international flights are China and other Asian countries, with European destinations also performing well. International reservations are 7% up on the previous year, evidencing an improvement in demand. |
