ANA to Continue International Fuel Surcharge for April - May 2010

TOKYO February 19, 2010 - ANA today applied to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to continue its fuel surcharge on international flights from April 1 to May 31, 2010.

The fuel surcharge is fixed for a period of two months, after which it is revised on the basis of the average market price of Singapore kerosene for the two months previous to the date of application for revision. Jet fuel rose to an average of US$84.5 per barrel from December 2009 to January 2010, and ANA regrets that it must continue to ask its valued customers to share the burden.
