Only when all the segments are not used for the Japan Domestic Flight Awards, miles can be refund back to the account by paying a refund fee using miles.
To request the refund, contact before the first segment of the itinerary, during the operation hours of the ANA Mileage Club Service Center.

Refunded mileage validity

Original validity of the mileage redeemed for Awards tickets.

Mileage is refunded in accordance with the accrual month of the mileage used for the Awards.

When there are no expired miles at the time of refund
Actual miles redeemed = miles refunded

Ex 1: When an unused Flight Award for 20,000 miles is refunded on October 1, 2011

When there are expired miles at the time of refund

Ex 2: When an unused Flight Award for 20,000 miles is refunded on May 10, 2014
(when there are expired miles at the time of refund)

* All the Awards to be refunded must be unused.

* Refund requests are accepted only when contacted during the above hours and accepted by ANA within 10 days of the validity of the Flight Awards.

* Postage costs for returns are the responsibility of the member.

* Unused Flight Awards will not be refunded if reservations are not canceled beforehand.

* Miles expired at the time of refund procedures cannot be refunded.

* Refunds will not be made if the amount of miles refunded is less than the mileage refund fee.

* Please be aware that it will take approximately 2 weeks after receiving tickets to refund the miles into the member account.

* A mileage refund fee will be charged for each person when refunding the Flight Award redeemed for multiple names.

* A mileage refund fee will be taken from the oldest miles that will be refunded to the account with the refund.

* Refunds of Japan Domestic Flight Awards can be processed by phone.
