ANA Domestic Flight Awards

The mileage required for ANA Japan International Flight Awards was previously categorized broadly by itinerary zone, but starting 04/2008, a new awards chart based on segment distance and season went into effect.

Refund service for unused awards

Miles can be refunded to your account if you pay a refund fee using miles, but only if you have not used any of the segments of an International Flight Award.

If you want to have miles refunded, before the departure of the first reserved flight in your itinerary, please contact ANA SKY WEB(*), the ANA Mileage Club Service Center, or any members-only desk during business hours.

(*)AMC members who hold e-tickets and paid tax by credit card may cancel award reservations and receive a refund at ANA SKY WEB. This service is not available to AMC member who reside in US and made payment in US dollars.

Contact the ANA Mileage Club Service Center or any members-only desk (during business hours) before the date of the departure of the first reserved flight in your itinerary.

* If you process a request on ANA SKY WEB, you need to do so by 11:59 p.m. on the day before you depart on your first itinerary.

Refunded mileage validity

Original validity of the mileage redeemed for Awards tickets.

Example of refund for unused Awards

Mileage is refunded in accordance with the accrual month of the mileage used for the Awards.

When there are no expired miles at the time of refund
Actual miles redeemed = miles refunded

Ex 1: When an unused Flight Award for 20,000 miles is to be refunded on October 1, 2010

Notes

* All the Awards to be refunded must be unused.

* ANA accepts refund requests only during the hours shown above, and only if received within 30 days of the expiration of the Flight Award.

* Postage costs for returns must be paid by the member.

* Unused Flight Awards will not be refunded if reservations are not canceled beforehand.

* Miles expired at the time of refund procedures cannot be refunded.

* Refunds will not be made if the amount of miles refunded is less than the mileage refund fee.

* Please be aware that it will take approximately 2 weeks after receiving tickets to refund the miles into the member account.

* A mileage refund fee will be charged for each person when refunding the Flight Award redeemed for multiple names.

* A mileage refund fee will be taken from the oldest miles that will be refunded to the account with the refund.
