Partner Flight Awards

ANA Mileage Club Flight Awards may be used with Partner Airlines. Please enjoy free award travel using our global network.
Starting 04/01/2008 (for applications), the mileage required to redeem for Star Alliance Flight Awards and Partner Flight Awards has been unified with the awards chart based on segment distance. In addition, the differing terms of use for each airline have been unified.

Refund policy for unused awards

Only when none of the Partner Flight Award segments have been used can miles can be refunded back to an account after payment of a refund fee with mileage. ANA international flights upgrade awards, Star Alliance upgrade awards will be refunded without mileage refund fee.

Please contact ANA Mileage Club Service Center or the members-only desk during business hours before the departure of the first reserved flight in your itinerary.

Original mileage expiration redeemed for the Awards ticket.

Example of refund for unused Awards

Mileage is refunded in accordance with the accrual month of the mileage used for the Awards.

When there are no expired miles at the time of refund
Actual miles redeemed = miles refunded

Ex 1: When an unused Flight Award for 20,000 miles is refunded on October 1, 2010

Ex 2) When an unused Flight Award for 20,000 miles is to be refunded on 05/10/2013

Notes

* Miles expired at the time of refund procedures cannot be refunded.

* Refunds will not be made if the amount of miles refunded is less than the mileage refund fee.

* The Award ticket to be returned must be unused and it must still be valid if it is an air ticket.

* If you have the Flight Award on hand, it must be returned. Postage costs for return will be responsibility of the member.

* The procedure for refunding miles is performed after the Flight Award is returned.

* Please be aware that it will take approximately 2 weeks after receiving tickets to refund the miles into the member account.

* A mileage refund fee will be charged for each person when refunding the Flight Award redeemed for multiple names.

* The mileage refund fee using miles will be taken out starting from the oldest miles refunded to the account after the refund.
