This can be used on ANA Group Flights.

* Upgrade Awards cannot be used for code share flights operated by other airlines with an ANA flight number or code share flights operated by ANA with the flight number of other airline.

Miles

Miles required for awards

Mileage can be used starting at 12,000 miles for a one-way trip.
When you purchase your air ticket, please have all segments already reserved on which you will be using Upgrade Awards.
Required mileage does not change by season.
Required mileage is calculated as below.

* Check the basic segment mileage...	[Beijing Tokyo] is 1,313 miles, and [Tokyo Los Angeles] is 5,458 miles.
* Check the mileage classification...	The 1,313 miles are classified within [0 2,000 miles], and the 5,458 miles are classified within [4,501 5,500 miles].
* Check the number of required miles...	[Beijing Tokyo] is classified within [0 2,000 miles] Business Class 12,000 miles [Tokyo Los Angeles] is classified within [4,501 5,500 miles] Business Class 25,000 miles

* Flight awards for children require the same number of miles as for adults. Also, confirm the details of Awards usage by infants.

ANA Diamond Service, Platinum Service, Bronze Service members and ANA Super Flyers Card members, can use the following upgrade points.

ANA domestic flights: 4 points per segment

ANA international flights: 5-15 points per segment

Tickets with all segments confirmed and purchased under the following fares are eligible.

* Upgrading from economy class to first class is not acceptable.

* Upgrade Awards may not be available for some flights.

* Upgrade awards cannot be used together with flight awards.

* Upgrade Awards cannot be used for inclusive tour fares applied to package tours, fares other than those listed above, or other such fares.

* Upgrade Awards cannot be used on domestic flight segments in Japan.

Validity

After being requested, Upgrade Awards are only valid for the applied flight. Changing the flight status to open or making changes to passenger name, flight number, date, segment, and/or class are not permitted after request.

* Please note that there may be seasonal changes to schedules or route cancellation.

Notes

"Award User Registration * (up to 10 persons)" is required for those other than the member to use Upgrade Awards. Please register through the members-only Functions area on the ANA SKY WEB or the ANA SKY MOBILE (mobile site), or request the "Award User Registration Form" from the ANA Mileage Club Service Center. * Award users may be asked to provide documentation verifying their family relationships with members.

The number of Upgrade Awards seats is limited. (Upgrade seats may not be available on some flights.) Seats may be unavailable with Awards on some flights, even if seats are available with paid tickets on the same flight. Thank you for your understanding.

Upgrade Awards cannot be used together with International Flight Awards.

When using Upgrade Awards, accumulation of miles and ANA Premium Points are based on the class of the ticket you purchased.

If connecting with an ANA flight from other airline, through check-in for upgraded flights is not always allowed due to various factors including the airport of departure, the airline used, or computer systems. In such cases, members are required to check-in again at an airport for transit.

Other than stipulated in the "Refund Service for unused awards," mileage that has been redeemed for Upgrade Awards cannot be refunded to a mileage account.

Upgrade to business class for the Narita-Mumbai route is available only for the flights operated with aircraft including an economy class.
