Reservation changes and refunds

Changes/refunds in cases other than requested by the customer


The following procedure will be taken for flight delays and cancellations due to reasons other than requested by the customer.
Please contact our domestic reservation/information center or ticket counters at airports and certain cities for ransfers and refunds.

■Reasons considered to be other than customer requests

・Extreme weather conditions such as typhoon, snow, etc.
・Disaster situations such as earthquake, flood, etc.
・Aircraft malfunction
The above, and not limited to, are considered to be reasons other than customer requests


Changing the reserved flight

The following is limited to changes in the same leg (portion) of the reserved flight.
(1) Extension of the expiration date
In the event the customer is unable to reschedule a flight prior to ticket expiration date, the expiration date will be extended by 30 days counting from the following day of the original expiration date.
For fares where reservation changes are available, the reservation will be cancelled, and for open tickets, the longer of either the duration of ticket validity or aforesaid reserved flight departure date plus 30 days will apply.
(2)   In the event a fare price difference arises in connection with the reservation change
Fare price after the change > Fare price at the time of purchase --- The balance will not be charged
Fare price after the change < Fare price at the time of purchase --- The balance will be refunded
¦Fare adjustment will not be made to fares with reservation change restriction.
(3)   Endorsements to other carriers
Ticket endorsement to other carriers is available only to fares with changeable reservation.
¦However, in the event ANA acknowledges the situation such as aircraft malfunction, etc., endorsements to other carriers will be made for the non-changeable fare. Prior arrangement for approval and validation is necessary.
(4)   Endorsements to other carriers
Refund fee and cancellation fee will not apply.

Route change

Route change is changing the route to a destination other than the original purchased destination.
(1) Handling of the flight ticket
Purchased ticket must be cancelled and a new ticket with the new destination must be purchased
Customer is liable for the price difference between the cancelled ticket and the new ticket .
※For the following two situations, ANA will be liable for the fare difference.
In addition, the following is applied only if seats are available on the date of departure at the departure point (prior reservation may not be made)
A. Events approved by ANA, such as Force majeure, including but not limited to extreme weather, disaster, etc. which causes our flight to be delayed or cancelled, as well as re-routing approved by ANA, to/from a direct flight and transit flight.
B. In cases such as but not limited to aircraft malfunction.
(2)   Processing fee
Refund and cancellation fee in connection with the purchased flight ticket will not apply.
(3)   Endorsements to other carriers
Ticket endorsement to other carriers is available only to fares with changeable reservation.
※However, in the event ANA acknowledges the situation such as aircraft malfunction, etc., endorsements to other carriers will be made for the non-changeable fare. Prior arrangement for approval and validation is necessary.
(4)   Endoresements to other carriers
Refund fee and cancellation fee will not apply.

Refunds

(1) Flight tickets subject to refunds
Tickets issued with domestic route fare and fees.
(2)   Location for refunds
ANA ticket counter at the airports and certain cities
※Refunds for tour type fares (group fares, package tour fares, etc.) will be processed at the point of purchase.
※Processing through the internet is available only for entire itinerary refunds, purchased by ANA ticket-less service using ANA's internet service or reservation / information center.
(3)   Refund amount
Prior to tour commencementcFull purchased amount
After the commencememt of tour cvalue of the unused portion(s)
(4)   Processing fee
Refund fee and cancellation fee will not apply.
(5)   Various complimentary services
A notice for ANA shareholders who use the shareholder's complementary ticket certificate confirming the ticket as unused will be issued in connection with the refund of the flight ticket.
