Geography
Saga Prefecture is located in the northwestern shoulder of Kyushu along the coast of the Ariake Sea with the Sefuri Mountains to the east. The Chikugo, Kase and Rokkaku rivers flow through the prefecture's narrow central plain.

Average temperature of Saga is 16.1°C with an average annual rainfall of about 1,836mm.
