Baggage –Notice for customers on international flights-

Some special rules of excess baggage may apply for sports equipments. Please see pages below for details.

Golf Equipment

The total number of your checked baggage including your golf equipment* is under free baggage allowance. ** No charge applies. <see Ex1>
The total number of your checked baggage including your golf equipment* exceeds free baggage allowance. A charge equivalent to 50% of the excess baggage charge applies to your golf equipment.<see EX2>
* A set of golf equipment consist of : one golf bag, one pair of shoes and one set of clubs.
** If it is within the free baggage allowance, a single set of golf equipment is considered to have a total linear dimension not exceeding 158 cm (62 in).
  (If you have 2 sets or more of golf equipment, every set of golf equipment is applied for the normal excess baggage charge beyond the first one.)

1 baggage & 1 set of golf equipment(10kg)Total 2 pieces No charge applies.
2 baggage & 1 set of golf equipment (10kg)    Total 3 pieces A charge equivalent to 50% of the excess baggage charge applies to your golf equipment (1set)
2 baggage & 2 sets of golf equipment (10kg and 8kg) Total 1.5 of the excess baggage charge applies.

Ski (including snowboard and water ski)

The total number of your checked baggage  including your ski equipment* is under the free baggage allowance**. No charge applies. <see Ex1>
The total number of your checked baggage  including your ski equipment* exceeds the free baggage allowance**. A charge equivalent to 33% of the excess baggage charge applies to your ski equipment.<see EX2>
* A set of ski equipment consist of : one set of skis, poles and boots; or snowboard and boots; or water skis.
** If it is within the free baggage allowance, a single set of ski equipment is considered to have a total linear dimension not exceeding 158 cm (62 in.).
  (If you have 2 sets or more of ski equipment, every set of ski equipment is applied for the normal excess baggage charge beyond the first one.)

Surfboard

The following excess baggage charges apply to surfboard equipments regardless of the booking class. (If you have more than 2 surfboards, each of them will be measured one by one)
Windsurfing* and bodyboard equipments will not be handled as sports equipment, it will be handled as a normal checked baggage.

*However, a set of windsurfing equipment including one windsurfing board, a mast, boom and sale will be considered as 1 baggage.

Surfboard length charge
1st surfboard The length of the board is not exceeding 277cm. A charge equivalent to 50% of the excess baggage charge applies.<see Ex1>
The length of the board exceeds 277cm. A charge of the excess baggage charge applies.

2nd of more surfboad If you have 2 or more surfboards, the second one is applied for the normal excess baggage charge.
3 charges of the excess baggage charge applies for the following cases.
(1)total linear dimensions exceeding 203cm or (2) weighing in excess of 32kg and not exceeding 45kg
<see Ex3>

1 baggage & 1 surfboard (7kg, 250cm)The length of the surfboard is not exceeding 277cm therefore a charge equivalent to 50% of the excess baggage charge applies.
2 baggage & 1 surfboard (10kg, 280cm)   The length of the surfboard is exceeding 277cm therefore a charge of the excess baggage charge applies.
1 baggage & 2 surfboard (7kg, 250cm and 10kg, 280cm) Total 3.5 of the excess baggage charge applies.
Bicycle(BIKE)

A bicycle (BIKE)* is considered as a piece of luggage and may be checked in as part of the free baggage allowance.
Passengers will be subject to normal excess charges when it exceeds free baggage allowance.

(BIKE)*: All bicycles, regardless of size and weight, will be considered as a piece of luggage with a total linear dimension of 158 cm (62 inches).
(BIKE)* should be non-motorized single seat or tandem seat bicycles.
(BIKE)* must be properly packed. Handlebars must be fixed sideways and pedals removed (or fixed inwards).
