The story of Singapore Airlines (SQ) began in May 1947, when Malayan Airways inaugurated the first operation as a small regional airline among Asian cities. To a World Class Carrier Today, SQ has been internationally recognized as one of the world's leading carriers. Singapore Airlines is the pioneer of inflight services such as complimentary headsets or its entertainment system KrisWorld route network spans 89 destinations in 38 countries by most young and modern fleet. SQ has joined Star Alliance since April 2000 as the 11th member to create further higher quality of services including global network and flight connection.

Confirmation of flight number

The flight number of Singapore Airlines (SQ) is printed on the boarding card. Indications on the guideboard in the airport are given with both NH flight number and SQ flight number or only with SQ flight number.

Only ANA flight numbers are used on boarding pass and guideboards in the airport.
