For those entering the United States under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP)

Entry procedures into the United States for VWP cutomers will change accordingly;


Due to the decision made by the US Government, a machine readable passport is required by those entering the United States with a Visa Waiver Program starting October 26, 2004.

The requirements for travelers under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) changes depending on when VWP travelers' passports were issued.
Please check the information below.

If you issued your passport;
-on/after October 26, 2004, a machine readable passport is required.
-on/after October 26, 2005, a machine readable passport with a digital photograph is required.
-on/after October 26, 2006, a machine readable passport with a digital photograph and integrated chip is required.

Travelers should contact the US Embassy or the Consulate General in order to obtain further information about the entry procedures .

Also the following procedures have been added during the entry process into the United States from September 30,2004.

- Fingerprints of both index fingers will be taken by an inkless device
- A digital photo of your face will be taken

Customers still need to submit an I-94W form when entering the United States by the Visa Waiver Program.
