<Environment of transportation>
[Cargo hold]
Before closing the cargo hold door the light is turn off and it is dark in the hold during the flight. The air conditioning in the cargo hold is set prior to take-off and during the flight, to become a similar environment to that of the passenger cabin.
[Humidity·Temperature]
After check-in ANA hold your pet at the place where the air conditioning is set to a suitable temperature and humidity, until the flight departs. However, when loading and off-loading pets from the aircraft, especially in the summer season, temperatures may become high due to the reflection of heat in the aircraft parking area compared with outside.
[Noise]
During the flight, and particularly during take off and landing, there are noises made by the mechanical operation of various parts of the aircraft such as engines, flaps, and landing gear. Also, during loading and off-loading, pets may be subjected to noises made by other aircraft operations and ground handle vehicles.

Although ANA take particularly care of pets during their travel, there is the possibility of the unexpected situation due to it being a very stressful experience for dogs to be separated from their owner for long time, especially if this is their first experience.
ANA recommend consulting a veterinarian before you decide to book your pet’s travel considering the characteristics of your pet (puppy, old age, short-nosed dog and so on). |

Compared to other breeds, short-nosed dogs are more vulnerable to environmental conditions, particularly in hot and humid weather, which may cause them breathing difficulties.
Suspension on carriage of following short-nosed dogs during July 1st-September 30th(every year).
