Suspension of Carriage of Short-nosed Dog
Thank you for flying with ANA.
As ANA is concerned about the safety of your animal, we are unable to accept the following short-nosed dog breeds from July 1st to September 30th.
In accordance with the professional veterinarian viewpoint, short-nosed dogs are vulnerable to environmental health conditions in the summer season, and its respiratory tract is narrow (compared to other breeds). These particularities can possibly cause a breathing disorder with heat stroke by high rough breathing in situation of high temperature/humidity. As a result, ANA decides not to accept the carriage of short-nosed dogs during the aforementioned period every year.
