How to Make a Reservation / About the Procedure

Reservations

You can assign seats through ANA SKY WEB/ANA SKY MOBILE and at ANA International Reservation and Information Center when you book and purchase tickets*1.

  • *1 3 days prior (4 days prior for flights after midnight*2) to your departure. If you use Online Check-in, you can select your seat through the Internet from 24 hours to 75 minutes before scheduled departure.
  • *2 We consider flights after midnight to depart 12:00AM - 1:59AM
  • * We may not always be able to honor your seat request because the number of seats are limited. Please note that your assigned seat may change due to change in aircraft or other reasons.
  • * Please note that there may be other times where we are unable to honor your seat request. Click here for details.

At the Departure Airport

Airport Support Reservation required

Airport support is available from the check-in counter to the boarding gate (to the lounge for passengers eligible to enter the lounge) for passengers 65 years and older traveling alone.

Wheelchair rentals

Wheelchairs are available at all airports. Reclining wheelchairs and narrow aisle wheelchairs to reach seat in the airplane are available at some airports.

Our aircrafts are equipped with a cabin wheelchair for your convenience on board.
Please do not hesitate to ask our cabin crew.

Special meals Reservation required

To meet specific dietary requirements for health reasons, we have a wide selection of meals to meet your needs.
Advance reservation is required. Please make your request at least 24 hours prior to departure.
(Reservations are accepted via ANA SKY WEB until 2 days prior to departure.)

At the connecting or arrival airport

Airport Support Reservation required

Assistance at the airport is available for passengers 65 years and older traveling alone.

<In case passengers have a connecting flight>
Airport staff will escort passengers from the disembarking gate to the check-in counter or boarding gate for a connecting flight. (If the connecting flight will depart from a different terminal, airport staff will escort them to the shuttle bus area.)
<At the arrival airport>
Airport staff will escort passengers from the disembarking gate to arrival lobby or passenger pick-up area.

Notes on using the service

  • ・Individual service can not be guaranteed.
  • ・At airports outside of Japan, we can not guarantee the staff assisting will be a Japanese speaker.
  • ・Does not apply to group tours.
  • ・Limitation in total numbers apply. Services may vary at airports.
[Information About the Passenger's Wheelchair]
  • ・Since cabin storage space is limited, you will be asked to check your own wheelchair at the counter. If you use ANA's wheelchair service, we will provide an attendant to assist you in moving to your seat.
    Please let us know if you would like to use your own wheelchair to/from the aircraft.
  • ・In accordance with the Air Carrier Access Act, we can accept 1 manually operated, foldable wheelchair per flight for flights departing to/arriving from the U.S.
    For details such as size and flight eligibility, please check with our staff at the airport.
    Please note that in some cases we may not be able to accommodate storage of the wheelchair as storage space is limited on some aircraft.
  • ・If you use an electric wheelchair, please let us know the size, weight and type of battery when you book your flight and check-in at least 120 minutes prior to your departure.

Notice for seat reservation

  • ・A number of pre-assignable seats are limited for special reasons. Your seat can only be assigned on departure if your requested seat is not available for pre-assignment.
  • ・Seats available for advance seat reservation may differ by ANA Premium member status or booking class. Please check ASW for the latest seat map as available seats may differ by availability.
  • ・Please note that ANA usually withhold a percentage of seats for passengers who need special assistance at time of boarding and during the flight.
    If you are unable to pre-assign your seat at the time of your booking, you may obtain your assignment upon check-in for your flight.
  • ・In accordance with a directive issued by the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, for the safety of all passengers, emergency exit row seats will be limited to passengers that satisfy all the conditions below.
  • 1. Aged 15 years or above
  • 2. Not accompanying children under 12 years of age
  • 3. Does not require the assistance of an escort or staff
  • 4. Is capable of assisting in an emergency evacuation, such as opening or closing an aircraft door
  • 5. Can understand evacuation procedures and crew's instructions, and verbally convey such information to other passengers
  • 6. Can communicate in Japanese or English
  • 7. Does not have to assist an accompanying passenger in an emergency evacuation
  • * Passenger who does not meet all the conditions above may be requested to change a seat.
  • * Passenger seated in emergency exit row seat must store all the belongings in the overhead compartment.
  • * Passengers seated in emergency exit row seats will be requested to assist during an emergency evacuation under instructions of cabin crew.
