(Samples of Possible Itinerary)
| Other itineraries |
The departure location and the final destination on the itinerary may differ, but they must be in the same country. |
China and Hong Kong are considered 1 country, and itineraries in which the departure country is different from the final destination country can be used. |
The outbound destination and inbound departure point of an itinerary may differ. |
Itineraries cannot pass through the country or region of origin en route to another destination. |
| Transportation Rules |
| Due to the rule prohibiting transit between 2 points in the United States, itineraries containing segments from the continental United States to Guam via Japan solely on ANA are not allowed. Similarly, itineraries containing flight segments from Guam to the continental United States via Japan solely on ANA are not allowed. |
| Miles needed to fly in different classes |
| If you travel in different classes on an international itinerary of 2 segments or less, you will need half of the miles required for both classes combined. In the case of 3 segments or more, the number of miles necessary are calculated based on the number of miles needed for the highest class in the entire itinerary. |
| Issuance of open tickets |
| Open tickets for your boarding day can be issued. However, if you have open tickets for your boarding day, the required miles for Regular Season will be applied. After ticketing, book your flight within the validity period and then enjoy the ride. Open tickets cannot be issued over the Internet. Please contact the ANA Mileage Club Service Center or an overseas AMC Service Center. |
| About connections with Japanese domestic flights |
You may take only ANA Japanese domestic flights (not with IBEX Airlines flight numbers).
If you transfer from a Japanese domestic flight with an ANA flight number (including ANA Connection flights) to an international flight, or from an international flight to a Japanese domestic flight, the miles needed for all itinerary segments including domestic flights are calculated.
However, you cannot make any stopovers (stays exceeding 24 hours). Itineraries originating overseas allow only one stopover in Japan.
Japanese domestic segments may be booked only for regular seats.
| Infants |
When infants (defined as children under the age of 2 for international flights*) use an Award ticket, they may occupy a seat by using the same number of miles as an adult. On the other hand, for infants who are not using an Award, please pay separately for an infant fare (the child may not occupy a seat) or a child fare (the child may occupy a seat) in the same class as the accompanying adult.
* The age at the time of boarding is applicable.
For 2 or more accompanying infants (children under the age of 2)
Up to 1 infant per adult can travel at no cost by sitting on the adult's lap. If the number of children exceeds the number of accompanying adults, reserve a seat using same mileage as an adult, or purchase a ticket separately with child fare or various discount fares. |
| Children |
When children (defined as children at least 2 years old and under twelve for international flights*) travel on an Award ticket, they need to use the same number of miles as for an Award used by an adult.
* The age at the time of boarding is applicable. |

Changes in season that result when boarding dates are changed are subject to an adjustment in the required mileage for the difference in price. If the required mileage increases, we will deduct miles for the difference in price. If you do not have enough miles for the adjusted price, you will not be able to change your reservation. Note that if the mileage decreases, miles will be refunded based on the difference in price. However, miles cannot be refunded after their expiration date.
