How to Use Power Supply Seat Plug Socket

It explains the use condition and notes of the seat power supply of the use of a personal computer and other electronic equipment in inside the plane.

Combination with Virgin Atlantic Airways is now available with Eco-wari.

Applicable class and route

First Class, Business Class, and Premium Economy Class for all aircrafts.

Time Period Available for Use

The power supply is turned off during take-off and landing as well as when the aircraft is on stand-by.

How to Use the Seat Plug Socket

When you use the personal computer

Note: Otherwise, the safety mechanism will be activated and power may not be supplied from the source to your laptop computer.
We are preparing an extension power cable for Personal Computer if the outlet of PC cannot be inserted. (Only Boeing 777-200ER and Boeing 777-300ER business class.)

When Using Other Electronic Equipment
1. Please confirm the following before it uses it.
Power source:
110V/60Hz; Max. power consumption: 75W
Make sure the following applies to your equipment before using:
Digital audio units, video cameras, digital cameras, electronic games, electronic dictionaries, etc.
Plug shape:
The plug shape must be a type that can be firmly inserted into the socket and requires no plug-in adapters.
2. If your equipment conforms to the above requirements, turn on the electric/electronic equipment first.
3. Next, plug the AC adapter smoothly and firmly into the plug socket located on the armrest.

Safety Precautions:
Maximum power supply for each seat group is limited for safety reasons. When the power limit is exceeded, the power supply for the passenger next to you will be turned off as well.
Power may be turned off without prior notice in case of system failure or over-consumption of power. When using a laptop computer, we recommend you keep a backup of your data to guard against data loss.
Please make sure that ventilation of your laptop computer is not blocked by a blanket, etc.
Use only nondefective cables and equipment.
Cabin attendants are not able to judge as to whether your electronic equipment applies to the safety precautions stated above. ANA is not liable for any damages resulting from usage.

LED light below (or next to) the socket indicates the availability of power.
