Application & Ticketing period
[Application Period]
You can apply from 9:00 a.m. (Japan time) of 355 days before your boarding day (not including the date of departure) until 96 hours before departure.
However, reservations are taken after the start of the application for the entire itinerary.
[Ticketing Period]
Tickets will be issued as soon as we are able to reserve all sectors of the itinerary for which you are using the flight awards. However, in the cases where there is a time limit for issuing tickets, the tickets must be issued within that time period. If the tickets are not issued within that time period, the reservation will automatically be cancelled. In addition, the reservation will be cancelled if the reservation and ticket issue procedures have not been completed before 14 days prior to departure.
  • * When making new reservations using ANA Website, reservations cannot be made in certain cases when the proposed itinerary overlaps with tickets which have already been booked.
Ticket Service Charge

Ticket Service Charge will apply for new ANA International Flight Awards issued through the ANA Mileage Club Service Center. The Ticket Service Charge for the Japan region is 2,160 yen (tax included). For other areas outside Japan, please refer to the table below. Note that there is no commission for apply using ANA Website.

  • Charge applies for one set of flight tickets for one customer.
  • Ticketing service charges will be waived for award tickets that are issued for infants under the age of 2.
  • This does not apply to commission fees for exchanging ANA international flight awards.
  • *1 This is applicable from July 1, 2016.
  • *2 If the ticket is issued by phone at contact center, EUR15 will apply.

Waitlisting is accepted for one flight for one-way trip.
However, if you already have a confirmed reservation for same secor, waitlisting is not acceted.

[Example] If you have a confirmed reservation for Narita⇒Singapore on August 1st, waitlisting for Narita⇒Singapore on August 2nd is not accepted.
It is because you already have a confirmed reservation for same sector.

[Example] If you have a confirmed reservation for Singapore⇒Narita on August 5th, waitlisting for Singapore⇒Haneda on same day is not accepted.
It is because you already have a confirmed reservation for same sector (Singapore⇒Tokyo).

  • * In cases where you are able to secure a seat, be sure to have your tickets issued before the deadline.
  • * Passengers cannot reserve duplicate tickets for the same cabin.
  • * In some cases, it is not possible to reserve online multiple itineraries that overlap. In such cases, please contact the ANA Mileage Club Service Center or the overseas ANA Mileage Club Service Center.
  • * When flights are crowded, we may, in some circumstances, be unable to accept waitlisting reservations.
Issuing Open Tickets
Tickets with an open departure date can not be issued.
About changes after applying

■Before ticketing

Able to change till ticketing limit

In cases below, you cannot change your itinerary on ANA Website , so please call ANA Mileage Club Service Center.

  • ・ Itinerary with more than 2 stopovers
  • ・ Itinerary that was made or changed at our call center.

■After ticketing

Able to change boarding date or flight within ticket validity.
Time limit for applying: Up to 24 hours before departure of reserved flight and new flight.


  • * The name of the passenger, and the name of the individual supplying the miles cannot be changed.
  • * The airline, passenger, sector, and route cannot be changed.
    Even if the new itinerary and original itinerary are the same ZONE, changes cannot be made.
    In certain cases where both ANA and Air Japan operate flights over the same sector, passengers may switch between the 2 airlines.
  • * Reservations cannot be made for departure dates more than 355 days in advance.
  • * Reserved partner flight awards cannot be changed to ANA international flight awards.
  • * If a changing the departure date results in a change of season, then adjustments must be made to meet the required number of miles. If the required number of miles increases, then the difference can be made up using further miles. If the mileage account does not contain the required number of extra miles, then the reservation cannot be changed. If the required number of miles decreases, then the difference is returned in miles. However, miles will not be returned if their expiry date has passed. Adjustments can only be made using miles, and not by cash or other means.
  • * When changing a fully unused ticket regardless of the sector that will be changed, additional payments based on applicable mile, fuel surcharge, and various taxes in date of change may be required to cover the difference. (Even if you have a reservation booked before April 11, 2015 and request change of any sector on/after April 11, 2015 additional payment may be required according to new rule, fuel surcharge and tax.)

You may not change your flights on ANA Website in cases of listed below. Please call ANA Mileage Club Service Center.

  • ・ Itineraries with multiple stopovers
  • ・ When there are unoccupied seats in a class lower than the reserved class, and you wish to switch over to the lower class. (However, in such cases, the mileage difference between the higher and lower class will not be refunded.)
  • ・ When seats are available in routes for which tickets were issued using mileage for a class higher than the reserved class.
  • ・ When you wish to be waitlisted. (Please apply 14 days prior to the departure day.)
  • ・ When your itinerary includes flights that depart within 24 hours except the flight that you wish to change.
    Example: If your outbound flight is on April 1 and inbound flight is on April 10, your reservation including inbound flight cannot be changed on March 31 because it is already within 24 hours before outbound departure.
  • Itineraries or airlines that cannot be applied on ANA Website
  • * Change at call center have to be completed 24 hours prior to the reserved flights and new departure. If you did not change by this limit, you will not be able to change anymore. There is no fee for changes.

How to receive awards ticket

Please receive the e-Ticket Itinerary & Receipt via e-mail or post. To prevent tickets being sent to the wrong e-mail or postal address, the e-Ticket Itinerary & Receipt can only be sent to the e-mail address or postal address registered by the member.

* The e-Ticket Itinerary & Receipt cannot be received at the airport.

Using e-Tickets

"Award User Registration" is required for those other than the member to use the Awards. Please register award users through the "members-only functions".

* You may be asked to provide documentation verifying your family relationship with the member.
