ANA's New International Boarding Style "CLICK check-in"

This new Internet check-in service starts on July 1st, 2010.
*Please prepare the necessary information required for CLICK check-in in advance.

User's Guide
From check-in to Departure

Mobile Boarding Pass is a electronic boarding pass which allows you to utilize the 2D (two-dimensional) barcode as a boarding pass.
Please obtain your 2D barcode from the e-mail notification which will be sent to the selected e-mail address.

* At Haneda airport, please drop your baggage 40 minutes before the scheduled depature time.

(Caution)
-There may be times where check-in procedures may be required at the Baggage Drop-off counter of the departure airport. Please check here for details.
-On the day of departure, please be sure to either bring a print out of your boarding pass, or the Mobile Boarding Pass which you received through your mobile phone's e-mail.
-If you have baggage you plan to check in, please arrive at the Baggage Drop-off counter at least 60 minutes prior to your departure time.
-Please present your valid passport and any other travel document(s) as required. There may be cases where if you do not have the necessary travel document(s), you will be unable to board the flight.

Terms of Use on Personal Computers/Mobile Phones

For flights eligible to utilize this service, it is possible to check in via ANA SKY WEB/ANA SKY MOBILE from 24 hours prior until 75 minutes prior to departure. You can also cancel the boarding procedures.

  • *As for the ANA SKY MOBILE, this service is for mobile phones and Smartphones(i-mode/EZweb/Yahoo!/iPhone/Android).
  • *This service is subject to availability, depending on your mobile phone service provider/device.
  • *Please be advised that use of mobile services will incur (packet) communication charges.
  • *To apply for packet flat-rate plan of your mobile phone company is recommended, to avoid billing of large amount.
  • *Packet rate plans will differ from Japan when traveling overseas.

What Information You'll Need

*Please note that you'll need to have all the necessary information below in order to proceed with CLICK check-in.

  • -Ticket or Reservation Number
  • -Passenger's Name
  • -Passenger's Date of Birth
  • -Passenger's Passport Information
  • -Information for Stay Upon Arrival in the United States (only required for passengers flying to/from the U.S.)

Service Availability for Passengers

For passengers with e-tickets issued (it is possible to proceed for up to 9 people at once). In the situation procedure is to be taken via mobile phone, procedure is one person at a time.

*Even for those passengers who have purchased as part of a group/tour, it is possible to proceed (in this case, your ticket number is required), excluding some cases according to the way your ticket is issued. For details, please contact your travel agency.

Eligible Routes

  • (1)All international routes operated by ANA Group*
  • (2)Flight operated by other carriers connecting from (1).*
  • (3)Japan domestic routes connecting to/from (1).

[The details of eligible domestic routes]

  • -CLICK check-in for Japan domestic flight is available from 24 hours before the scheduled departure of ANA international flight.
  • -Domestic flights having a same day connection, or less than 16hours connecting time with ANA international flight are eligible for CLICK check-in.
  • -If your itinerary includes more than one domestic flight, only a domestic flight connecting to ANA international fight is eligible for CLICK check-in.
     (Example) If your itinerary is "Ishigaki-Okinawa(Naha)-Tokyo(Narita)-Los Angeles", Ishigaki-Okinawa(Naha) sector is not eligible for CLICK check-in.
  • -If your domestic flight ticket is issued separately from your international flight ticket, your domestic flight is not eligible for CLICK check-in.

*Some flights (ex, charter flights) may not be applicable.

*Depending on the departure airport, it may be necessary to complete check-in procedures either at the airport check-in counter or the International Self-Check-in counter. For details, please click here.

Caution When Utilizing CLICK check-in Service

*This service is not available to the following(Please proceed to the check-in counter on the departure day):

  • -For infants under 2 years old not occupying a seat, as well as passengers traveling with infants
  • -If the ticket is ticketed other than as an e-ticket (electronic ticket)
  • -For code-share flights operated by other carriers departing from/arriving to Japan
  • -For passenger who need special assistance at the airport

[For those passengers who have completed Upgrade procedures before CLICK check-in]

  • -For upgraded passengers, it is possible to check-in with as the upgraded class of service.
  • -For passengers who have requested upgrade but are on the waitlist, if upper class is available, check-in will be completed in the upgraded class with CLICK check-in. If not available, check-in on the original class will be arranged. Seats may become available on the day of departure, please confirm with staff members at the airport counter.
  • -If you wish to use upgrade points on the day of departure, upgrades are possible when the conditions for upgrades (seats in a higher class, meals, etc.) are met. Please speak to staff members at the airport counter on the day of departure. *

* Upgrades using ANA Upgrade Points on the day of departure are possible from April 1st, 2012. Conditions apply to usage on the day of departure. If your itinerary has been decided, please make an advance reservation.

Boarding pass print procedure

Please refer to below information to obtain your boarding pass.
Although you have obtained internet boarding pass or mobile boarding pass via CLICK check-in, you may not be able to process directly to the boarding gate at the airport if you fail to collect proper boarding pass.

*You can receive boarding passes from the Self Service Check-in machine if the airport is equipped with a Self Service Check-in machine.

[Internet boarding pass]

  • You must bring internet boarding pass with 2D barcode printed; otherwise, you may not be able to proceed through the security check point.
    (Please stop by at the baggage drop-off counter to obtain proper boarding pass. )

[Mobile boarding pass]

  • Please ensure that your mobile devices's backlight is on. It may not be able to scan 2D barcode if backlight is off or if you attached sticker on your mobile device screen for protection.
  • Please show mobile boarding pass displaying 2D barcode and information relevant to your flight; otherwise, you may not be able to proceed through the security check point. (Please stop by at the baggage drop-off counter to obtain proper boarding pass. )
