About the Flex Traveler System
Passengers who voluntarily give up their seats will have alternate flight arrangements made for them and receive one of the two following monetary rewards.

About the AMC Flex Partner
AMC members who have registered
with AMC Flex Partner can earn miles instead of the monetary reward.

In situations where the alternative flight departs one day or more after the original flight, ANA will pay for the expenses within the amount determined by our company, in addition to the 20,000 yen monetary reward. |

If the passenger prefers a refund instead of an alternative flight, ANA will refund the ticket in full, waiving the standard refund fees. |
|
To receive the monetary reward, passengers must meet the following requirements:
- The passenger has a reservation for the flight in question.
- The passenger has purchased a ticket for the flight 20 minutes prior to boarding.
- The passenger arrived at the boarding counter 15 minutes prior to departure with the intent of boarding the flight.

What happens when I participate in the Flex Traveler system? |

You will receive a monetary reward and an alternate flight will be offered by ANA. |

What happens if my alternate flight is not the same day as my original flight? |
|
If alternate transportation cannot be provided on the same day, ANA will pay hotel costs and any transportation costs between the hotel and airport, as well as providing the monetary reward and alternate flight. If hotel accommodation is not necessary, ANA will cover transportation costs between your home and the airport up to the amount determined by our company. |

What if I ask for a refund instead of an alternative flight? |
|
If you prefer to be refunded for your flight, ANA will waive the regular refund transaction fees and you will be refunded the total fare. In this case, you will still receive your monetary reward. |

Why are there more reservations than there are seats? |
|
There are passengers with reservations who do not arrive at the airport for various reasons. To give these otherwise empty seats to passengers who can use them, we offer more reservations than there are seats on some of our flights. |

Which passengers are eligible for this system?
|
|
Passengers who have booked a flight, purchased tickets and arrive at the boarding gate 15 minutes prior to departure can volunteer their seats. |

What is an AMC Flex Partner? |
|
AMC members who register beforehand for the Flex Traveler system are AMC Flex Partners. |
|
|
|
|
|
Must I give up my seat if I become an AMC Flex Partner? |
|
There is absolutely no obligation; the system is completely voluntary. Only passengers who can freely change their flight plans should volunteer. |
