Airport Summary
The Honolulu International Airport, which is located about 15km northwest of Waikiki on the island of Oahu, is used by more than 20 million visitors a year. A pleasant structure with numerous vaulting stairwells adorned by plants, the airport overall has the atmosphere of a gateway to a resort. It also functions as an airport for transfer to the various islands of the Hawaiian archipelago.

1 Immigration Please present your passport, embarkation/disembarkation card and customs declaration form.
Note: You are requested to submit the customs declaration form even if you have nothing to declare. Only one customs declaration form is required per family.
Note: The paper form I-94W(arrival/departure record) for authorized travelers from nations participating in the Visa Waiver Program(VWP), with an approved Electronic System for Travel Authorization(ESTA), has been eliminated.

  For customers who travel to other islands in Hawaii, please check-in baggage at the baggage counter for transit. Next, please walk to the Inter-Islands Terminal Commuter Terminal to complete check-in for transit.
Customers who transit from Other islands in Hawaii to ANA
  Please go to the ANA Check-in Counter which is located at the International Terminal Lobby 4 or gate counter. A bus stop for transit is located in Lobby 4.
Customers who transit from Other islands in Hawaii to UA
  Please go to the UA Counter which is located at the International Terminal Lobby 8. A bus stop for transit is located in Lobby 8.

Terminal facilities

Carts The use of carts costs $5.00.
Banks
There is a bank located in front after exiting the arrival lobby (1st floor).
Business hours: 8:30-15:00, Monday-Friday
Japan Post Bank Though there is no Japan Post Bank in the terminal, mail is handled at the Business Center (in the 2nd floor departure lobby).
Business center The Business Center is located in the departure lobby (2nd floor) and offers the use of copy machines and fax machines.
Business hours: 6:30-20:00
