I am expecting a child. Will I be able to travel by air?
Yes, you can. However, if your expected date of delivery is less than 4 weeks (28 days) prior to departure, you will need to submit a medical certificate issued by a physician no more than 7 days before departure (including the day of departure). The medical certificate should state the pregnancy is uncomplicated and the expected date of delivery. In the form, your doctor should state that you are in good health and fit to travel. In addition, if the expected date of delivery is within 14 days, you must be accompanied by a physician.
Is it possible to use a baby stroller at the airport?
Yes, baby strollers are available at the airport. For details, ask at the departure counter at the airport.
How far can I use baby stroller at the airport? Can I use the stroller upon arrival?
You will be able to use it from the check-in counter to the boarding gate. At some airports, the stroller is available for use at the arrival airport. Please let us know if you would like to use the stroller upon arrival.
Are bassinets provided in the cabin?
Bassinets are provided on ANA's international flights (excluding some types of aircraft).
Please ask for a seat where a bassinet can be set upon reservation.
Will the bassinet be prepared right after boarding?
No, the cabin crew will set the bassinet for you after takeoff, at a cruising altitude.
Can I request to warm my bottle for powdered milk during my travel?
Our cabin crew will be happy to prepare it for you.
Where can I change diapers?
A lavatory equipped with a changing table is available for use. Please ask your cabin crew for locations.
Are reservations necessary for baby or child meals? Can I request them at the airport or on board on the day of departure?
Reservations are not accepted at the airport or on board. Please request your special meal when you make your reservation for your departing flight, at least 24 hours prior to departure.
My child has a food allergy. Do you have any special allergy-free meals?
Yes. Please contact ANA International Reservation and Information Center at least 96 hours prior to departure to make requests for special meals-free from allergies. Our meals are cooked in an allergy-free kitchen; however, we cannot completely prevent the possibility of other substances in the atmosphere which may be mixed during the process. We ask that those with severe food allergies to contact your doctor before choosing your meals.
