At the Departure Airport

Airport Support Reservation required via telephone  72 hours prior to departure

Airport support is available from the check-in counter to the boarding gate (to the lounge for passengers eligible to enter the lounge) for an adult passenger traveling with 1 or more children who are all under 3 years of age.

Baby strollers

Baby strollers are available for passengers with infants (both types A and B are available).
If you wish to use a baby stroller, please let us know when you check in.
Strollers can be used as far as the boarding gate.

  • ・Please note that we are unable to confirm usage in advance as the number of strollers are limited.
  • ・Rental baby strollers are not available at some airports.
  • ・You will not be able to take your baby stroller into the cabin. Please check in with all personal items removed from your stroller.

Inside the cabin

Bassinets Reservation required via telephone

Bassinets are provided on all international aircraft. Please book the bassinet when you make your reservation.
To make a reservation, please contact ANA International Reservation and Information Center.

  • ・ Size: 85cm x 45cm x 33cm
  • ・ weight: maximum 10kg
  • ・ Please note that the bassinet seat position and number are limited.

You will be able to find a lavatory which is equipped with a tabletop for changing diapers.

Baby meals/Child meals

Reservations are accepted either online or by telephone.
* Online reservations through the ANA homepage will be accepted until 2 days prior to departure.

■Special Meals-Free from Allergies  Reservation required via telephone  96 hours prior to departure
Advance reservation is required and are not accepted online.

Powdered milk

Powdered milk is available on board. However, we recommend that you bring your own since there are limits in quantities and types. Our cabin crew will be happy to prepare it for you.

Paper diapers

Paper diapers (M size and L size) are available on board. However, as there are limits in quantities and types, we recommend that you have an adequate supply of diapers for your trip.

ANA original toys and skin care goods are prepared for your little ones to make the journey more enjoyable. Please click here for more details.

Reliable service in the cabin

Other goods such as drinks for children, baby bottles, aprons, forks and spoons are also available.
We will gladly assist you with stowing your luggage. Please feel free to ask our cabin crew.

Seat Reservation Pre-assigning seats accepted

Seats can be pre-assigned either online or by telephone.
For safety reasons, please note the following conditions will apply.

・If you want your infant to travel in a seat, please contact ANA International Reservation and Information Center.
・For safety standards, seats on emergency exits rows are not permitted.
・Passengers traveling with an infant may not be seated in the same section as another passenger traveling with an infant due to limitations of oxygen masks. If there is more than one passenger traveling with an infant, please assign seats in a different row or a section across from the aisle.
・We are unable to accept infants occupying a seat onboard First Class (on all aircrafts) and Business Class on the Boeing 787-8 aircraft. Only seat pairs in row D and F, E and G next to each other can be assigned for the infant occupying a seat and the accompanying passenger onboard Business Class on the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.


* We may not always able to honor your seat request because the number of seats are limited. Please note that your assigned seat may change due to change in aircraft or other reasons.

At the connecting or arrival airport

Airport Support Reservation required via telephone  72 hours prior to departure

Airport support is available for an adult passenger traveling with 1 or more children who are all under 3 years of age.
To make a reservation, please contact ANA International Reservation and Information Center.

<In case passengers have a connecting flight>
Airport staff will escort passengers from the disembarking gate to the check-in counter or the boarding gate for a connecting flight. (If the connecting flight will depart from a different terminal, airport staff will escort them to the shuttle bus area.)
<At the arrival airport>
Airport staff will escort passengers from the disembarking gate to the arrival lobby or passenger pick-up area.

*1 We do not rent out child seats. Please bring your own child seat which is in conformity with the rules as we do not provide at the airport. For acceptable type of child seat, click here. (You will be directed to the ANA Japan Domestic homepage)

■Infants and toddlers (8 days - less than 2 years of age)

If you are a passenger traveling with an infant, please be sure to contact ANA International Reservation and Information Center as there may be boarding limitations.

  • ・Infants and toddlers are to be accompanied by a passenger at least 12 years of age.
  • ・One adult may accompany up to two infants. *2
    One of your babies is to occupy his or her seat and child fare will be applied.

*2 When an adult is accompanying 2 infants, one infant is required to use a child seat.

■Children between 2-11 years of age
  • ・Children less than 5 years of age must be accompanied by a passenger at least 12 years of age.
  • ・Children age 5-11 years of age may travel alone. For details, please refer to the Easy Travel for Kids service.

Notice for seat reservation

  • ・A number of pre-assignable seats are limited for special reasons. Your seat can only be assigned on departure if your requested seat is not available for pre-assignment.
  • ・Seats available for advance seat reservation may differ by ANA Premium member status or booking class. Please check ASW for the latest seat map as available seats may differ by availability.
  • ・Please note that ANA usually withhold a percentage of seats for passengers who need special assistance at time of boarding and during the flight.
    If you are unable to pre-assign your seat at the time of your booking, you may obtain your assignment upon check-in for your flight.
  • ・In accordance with a directive issued by the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, for the safety of all passengers, emergency exit row seats will be limited to passengers that satisfy all the conditions below.
  • 1. Aged 15 years or above
  • 2. Not accompanying children under 12 years of age
  • 3. Does not require the assistance of an escort or staff
  • 4. Is capable of assisting in an emergency evacuation, such as opening or closing an aircraft door
  • 5. Can understand evacuation procedures and crew's instructions, and verbally convey such information to other passengers
  • 6. Can communicate in Japanese or English
  • 7. Does not have to assist an accompanying passenger in an emergency evacuation
  • * Passenger who does not meet all the conditions above may be requested to change a seat.
  • * Passenger seated in emergency exit row seat must store all the belongings in the overhead compartment.
  • * Passengers seated in emergency exit row seats will be requested to assist during an emergency evacuation under instructions of cabin crew.
