We would like to draw your attention to certain rules pertaining to VISAs as follows :

Transit VISA:
Passengers who would like to transit to a third country via India will require a transit VISA.
Within 3 months validity, entry into India is allowed twice, and stay in each city in India shall be maximum 3 days.

Tourist VISA :
With regards to a tourist visa valid for 6 months, within the 6 months' period, if a passenger departs India he cannot return/re-enter for 2 months. If he wishes to re-enter within 2 months he must make a special application.

Depending on the frequency of visits to India or the duration of stay, purpose of visit, there is a variety of VISAs.

Please confirm the type of VISA that corresponds with your itinerary and purpose of visit.
