
ANA awarded first place in two categories
at the SKYTRAX World Airline Awards!
On April 1st, 2017, ANA achieved yet another 5-star rating from Britain’s SKYTRAX(*) Airline Rating.
Furthermore, on June 20th, 2017, ANA was awarded the best airline in the world for two categories; “World’s Best Airport Services,” which rates airlines based on the quality of airport services provided at its home base airport, and “Best Airline Staff in Asia,” which rates airlines by region, based on frontline services provided by airport ground staff as well as in-flight crew.


The World Airline Awards are based off the results of an online survey from customers all around the world. This is ANA’s 3rd consecutive year and 4th time overall to receive the “Best Airline Staff in Asia” award, and 5th consecutive year and 6th time overall to receive the “World’s Best Airport Services” award.
In addition, ANA secured 3rd place in the TOP10 Global Airlines division!
ANA is proud of its precise and courteous service provided at check in counters, lounges, and gates at all 42 of its international destinations.
It is ANA’s pride and joy to be the only Japanese airline to receive a 5-star rating, and will continue to strive to be a leading international airline group.

* SKYTRAX is an Airline Industry Rating Company founded in 1989, with its headquarters in London, U.K. Its World Airline Rating evaluates airlines on a scale of 1 to 5 stars and is described as the “Oscars of the airline industry.” Every year SKYTRAX conducts an online survey for customers which results in the World Airline Awards. Over 200 airlines are evaluated and awarded in this coveted awards ceremony.
