For Customers Planning to Travel to Japan

In order to enter Japan, you must provide a valid certificate of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours prior to departure (*) and will need to take another upon arrival.
(*) If your itinerary includes an international connection which does not include a U.S. airport within the connection, 72 hours prior to departure is calculated from the scheduled departure time of the first international flight within the itinerary. (It does not take into consideration domestic flights)

In addition, there are several other requirements such as a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon arrival, installing apps to report your health condition which must be declared by completing/signing the Written Pledge, being restricted from using public transportation, etc.
