Sawadanohama Beach

Irabu Island, one of the Miyako Islands, possesses a wide shallow beach. Aside from the rare scenery dotted with large rocks washed ashore by the tsunami, the area is also famous for its sunsets.

Yonaha Maehama Beach

A swimming beach on Miyako Island. The 7km stretch of coastline has been called 'the best white sand beach in the Orient', and is fondly called 'Maipama Beach' by locals.

Irabu Bridge

The bridge that connects Miyako Island with Irabu Island. It is the longest toll-free bridge in Japan at 3,540m long, and the cobalt blue ocean visible from it is very popular.
