Transit

Transit to International Flights

Passengers transiting from ANA to other airlines:

  • If you have your boarding pass of your connecting flight, please proceed to the boarding gate after pass through the security check in the transit area.
  • If you do not have your boarding pass of your connecting flight, please complete check-in at the connecting counter or proceed to the boarding gate.
Transit to Domestic flights

Passengers transiting from ANA to Virgin Australia:

  • You are required to collect your bags and clear Customs and Quarantine at Sydney. Turn left immediately after Quarantine and proceed to Virgin Australia Domestic Transfer Desk, where you will check in your bags.
    • You will receive a complimentary transfer pass for the bus to Domestic Terminal.

Passengers transiting from ANA to Qantas flights:

  • You are required to collect your bags and clear Customs and Quarantine. Turn right after entering arrival hall and proceed to Qantas Domestic check-in counter.
    • Qantas domestic transfer bus will bring you to the Domestic Terminal.

Passengers transiting from ANA to other airlines:

  • You are required to collect your bags and clear Customs and Quarantine.
    • Please move to domestic terminal by bus and proceed to check-in.
Transit from International Flights to ANA
  • Please proceed to the boarding gate after passing through the security checkpoint within the transit area. If you do not have your boarding pass for your ANA flight, please complete check-in at the boarding gate.
Transit from Australia Domestic Flights

Passengers transiting from Virgin Australia flights to ANA:

  • When you check-in at a domestic port with a connection via Sydney, your bags will be checked through to your final destination.
    • You will receive a “Virgin transfer wallet,” which contains a map of the transfer port and a bus pass to use in Sydney. Upon arriving in Sydney, make your way to the Transfer Lounge at Gate 46 where the transfer bus will take you to the International Terminal. Please proceed directly to Customs and Immigration.

Passengers transiting from Qantas flights to ANA:

  • You can use the Qantas transfer bus when your bags are checked through to your final destination. Upon arriving in Sydney, make your way to the Transfer Lounge at Gate 15 where the transfer bus will take you to the International Terminal.
    • Please proceed to the ANA check in counter on the departure level to complete check-in.

Passengers transiting from other airlines to ANA:

  • You are required to collect your luggage at the Sydney domestic terminal.
    • Please proceed to the international terminal by bus and complete check-in at the ANA check-in counter on the departure level.
