ANA Mileage Club Handling due to the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

In response to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), please refer to the following information of the ANA Mileage Club.

Extension of Expiration Dates for Miles and ANA SKY COINS

Miles and ANA SKY COINS Due to Expire between March 31 and August 31, 2021

Registration must be completed during the applicable period.

Customers who complete the necessary registration procedure will have the expiration dates of their miles and ANA SKY COINS extended up to September 30, 2021.

  • Even if you register, the miles and ANA SKY COINS will expire temporarily on their original expiry dates. However, you will then accrue the same amount of miles and ANA SKY COINS with a new expiration date of September 30, 2021. The time at which you accrue the miles/ANA SKY COINS will vary depending on when you register. For details, please see Registration Details.
  • If you redeem miles for an ANA domestic flight award, ANA Value Vouchers or other kinds of vouchers/coupons and then request a refund due to reasons beyond ANA's control (such as typhoons or snowfall) or for personal reasons, this handling will not apply for any miles that have expired at the time of the refund request.
  • If you redeem miles for an ANA international flight award and request a refund for personal reasons, this handling will not apply for any miles that have expired at the time of requesting the refund.
  • If you use ANA SKY COINS to purchase Japan domestic flight tickets or travel products and then request a refund due to reasons beyond ANA's control (such as typhoons or fallen snow) or for personal reasons, this handling will not apply for any ANA SKY COINS that have expired at the time of the refund request.

Miles and ANA SKY COINS Expiring between March 31, 2020 and February 28, 2021

Expiry dates will be extended up to March 31, 2021. Application is not required.

  • If you redeem miles for an ANA domestic flight award, ANA Value Vouchers or other kinds of vouchers/coupons and then request a refund due to reasons beyond ANA's control (such as typhoons or snowfall) or for personal reasons, this handling will not apply for any miles that have expired at the time of the refund request.
  • If you redeem miles for an ANA international flight award and request a refund for personal reasons, this handling will not apply for any miles that have expired at the time of requesting the refund.
  • If you use ANA SKY COINS to purchase Japan domestic flight tickets or travel products and then request a refund due to reasons beyond ANA's control (such as typhoons or fallen snow) or for personal reasons, this handling will not apply for any ANA SKY COINS that have expired at the time of the refund request.

Extension of FY 2020 Premium Member Statuses and Expiration Dates for Certain Premium Member Services

FY 2020 Diamond, Platinum, and Bronze Service Members will also be granted the same status in FY 2021 (April 1, 2021 - March 31, 2022). (Please note that some services will not be available.)
Moreover, certain FY 2020 Premium services will have their expiration dates extended.

2021 Bonus Premium Points and Benefit Selection

In order to help you earn your 2022 status, we will provide Bonus Premium Points for 2021 when you board ANA Group operated flights.
Further, we will provide a selection of benefits based on the Premium Points earned for flights between January to December 2020.

Notice of the delivery delays due to COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) on ANA Mileage Club item shipment

Some international shipments from ANA are arranged via EMS have possibilities of delays in the delivery (Even for Japan's domestic delivery) as Japan Post Office has announced that there are unavoidable impacts on their delivery services due to the spread of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus). All deliveries will restart once they resume their usual service.
