Takkiri Valley

"Tastes of JAPAN by ANA" is a regional vitalization project that collaborates with the different prefectures in Japan to present the Land of the Rising Sun in all of its diverse glory.
Takkiri Valley, located in Innai-machi of Usa-shi in Oita, is where you can enjoy beautiful walks surrounded by nature as well as camping at the Takkiri Valley Camp Site.
This verdant valley has a stream extending approximately two kilometers that runs along a monolith made of yabakei welded tuff. Visitors can enjoy climbing barefoot along this stream. The refreshing breeze of the forest and the cool stream will help you forget the summer heat.
Enjoy a moment immersed in nature, relaxing to the sound of the stream. This valley is a delightful destination for everyone from children to adults.
The camp site is open in the summer and has a lively atmosphere with many visitors.
Takkiri Valley shows us a different look with every season. The autumn foliage is also exceptionally beautiful.
