Kunisaki Oysters

"Tastes of JAPAN by ANA" is a regional vitalization project that collaborates with the different prefectures in Japan to present the Land of the Rising Sun in all of its diverse glory.

Kunisaki Oysters, a premium specialty that will change your image of oysters!

The most characteristic feature of Kunisaki Oysters, a brand of Pacific oyster grown in Kunisaki, Oita Prefecture, is their sweet and savory flavor with a surprisingly refreshing aftertaste. Each oyster is grown with the utmost care, cultivated separately by the single seed farming method from its birth to harvest. It is a premium oyster that is beautiful in appearance with a firm, palatable texture.

Kunisaki’s rich seas nurture Kunisaki Oysters

Home to Oita Airport, Kunisaki City is located by the Bungonada Sea Area, which is at the western edge of the Seto Inland Sea. Kunisaki Oysters are grown in this area blessed with an abundance of seafood.

Kunisaki Oysters are produced with care and love

Each Kunisaki Oyster is packed with the rich taste of its meat and scallops and savory fragrance. "We are proud to offer our special raw oysters raised in the seas of Kunisaki," says Mr. Kato, a representative producer of Kunisaki Oysters.

Village Rest Area Musashi, just three minutes from Oita Airport
