(Warning) Please Be Aware of Suspicious (Phishing) Emails Pretending to Be from ANA

We have become aware of emails pretending to be from the ANA Group that inform the recipients of a suspension of service and lead them to a fake (phishing) website requesting input of their name, email address and other information for confirmation purposes.
Although we do send emails to notify our customers of their reservations or introduce our products/services, we do not send emails requesting our customers to complete procedures to continue usage as a result of suspension of a service provided by ANA.
Also, we do not send emails requesting customers to provide information such as their credit card number or pin number.
We would ask you to be extremely careful for unfamiliar emails.
What Are Suspicious Emails?
Note: If any of the following applies, your attention is required.
Email Address
Emails which pretend to be a notification from ANA (ana.co.jp) by including “ana” in the sender’s address;
e.g.: ana.co.jp-account@xxxxxxxx
Main Text

Emails that provide information to the customer but do not state the customer’s name as the addressee;

Emails that include a URL that actually exists but leads to a fake website;

Emails that provide a contact for inquiries (the name of a non-existent company or organization) as though it actually existed;

Emails that use the name of a company or organization that actually exists but provide contact information which is different from the actual information;

Emails that contain some unnatural Japanese expressions in the body of the text.
