Beware of Fraudulent Emails, SNS Posts, and Phone Calls Purporting to be from ANA or ANA Group Companies
Thank you very much for your continued and loyal support of ANA.
We have recently become aware of the existence of fraudulent emails, SNS posts, and phone calls purporting to be from ANA or an ANA Group company that attempt to steal personal information or solicit investment.
We have received reports of email/SNS phishing scams in which third parties posing as ANA attempt to trick recipients into either providing their personal information or opening files containing viruses so that said information can be stolen.
We ask you to beware of unfamiliar or suspicious emails containing attachments that appear to be from ANA or ANA Group companies. If you suspect that you have received such an email, do not open the attachment and delete the email immediately.
In terms of SNS, there have been many posts circulating on Facebook purporting to be from ANA that seemingly offer free ANA flight tickets.
We would like you to be aware that these posts do not link to the official ANA website, and are in no way associated with or authorized by ANA.
We have also become aware of fraudulent phone calls purporting to be from employees of ANA, ANA Group companies, or ANA-related financial institutions which attempt to solicit investments such as the purchase of securities by exercising preferred shareholder rights and funding for the construction of new factories.
Please note that ANA and ANA Group companies never call or visit their customers directly to solicit investments.
If you have received calls or visits regarding the soliciting of investment from someone purporting to be from an ANA or ANA Group company, we ask that you report it to your nearest police station.
