Information about International Tourist Tax

ANA starts to collect “International Tourist Tax” following new rule of the National Tax Agency.

Effective date

For tickets issue and travel on/after January 7, 2019
* When passenger purchases an air ticket, tax will be collected with the air fare.
* It is also applicable when air ticket is changed after effective date.

Tax amount (applicable for departure from any airports in Japan)

Passengers departing on international flights: 1,000 yen (exempted consumption tax)
* Adult / child same amount
* Transit passengers who leave Japan within 24 hours after entry using the same air ticket.
