Kojima Jeans Street
The Kojima district has developed the textile industry since the late Edo period.

Producers in the district use a good technology for everything from materials, dyeing, weaving, sewing, finishing, and processing to produce high-quality "Japan Denim" products. In the shopping district that extends southward from the Nozaki’s Historical Residence, there are many stores run by local jean-makers, with a wide variety of highly original products.
