Strawberries from Yamamoto Town
Different varieties of strawberries are cultivated in this town, and visitors can enjoy strawberry picking in several farms between mid-December to mid-June every year. These varieties include those with their origins in Miyagi, such as Moikko, which is large in size with a refreshing sweetness, and Nikoniko Berry, which features red flesh to its core and the perfect marriage of sweetness and acidity.
