Ishitoge Lakeland

"Tastes of JAPAN by ANA" is a regional vitalization project that collaborates with the different prefectures in Japan to present the Land of the Rising Sun in all of its diverse glory.

Ishitoge Lakeland in the Saigo District is a leisure complex on the shore of the Ouchibaru Dam. With its design concept of harmony with nature, it offers many experiences in the great outdoors for people of all ages to enjoy.

Mimigawa, the onsen hot springs of Saigo, has a rich, good-quality source spring and is known as a bijin-no-yu, or "beauty hot spring," It also features an open-air bath, with a luxurious sense of spaciousness, and an infra-red sauna to refresh body and mind. Bask in a feeling of ultimate bliss as you soak in the rich, overflowing hot spring waters. The facility also offers meal and bath plans for groups.

You can also stay overnight in one of the 12 cottages, whose simple wooden interiors invoke a sense of warm nostalgia. Choose from either a Japanese or Western style room. The cottages are fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. You can also enjoy a barbecue on the terrace as you take in the lakeshore view. The complex also has an extensive range of activities to enjoy.
