Harumi (KINMEMAI rice) produced in Kanagawa

Harumi is the first rice brand grown in Kanagawa Prefecture that has twice received Special A, the highest rank in taste by the Japan Grain Inspection Association. It is shiny, sticky and moderately sweet and remains tasty even when it cools. With only small quantities available outside the prefecture, Harumi can mainly be eaten in Kanagawa Prefecture.

"Raifukuyaki"--- steamed bun stuffed with sweet aduki bean paste

This is a bun with rich tsubu-an (sweet aduki bean paste), which has been kneaded with wasanbon sugar, filled in a fluffy and somewhat glutinous dough. It uses Awa wasanbon sugar, which has a unique richness and sweetness and is perfect for a simple confectionery. The bun blends rice flour and wheat flour for a somewhat glutinous yet fluffy texture. After baking, it is not frozen to create a unique texture.

Narita no imo no sweet potato

Satsuma-imo an (sweet potato bean paste) is made by adding sugar and other ingredients to white bean paste, which is often used in Japanese traditional confectionery, and sweet potato paste made of Quick Sweet, a variety of sweet potatoes grown in Narita. Made by blending whipped cream, eggs, sweet potato powder, and fragrant brandy into the mixture of satsuma-imo an, the dough is baked with care. It is a delectable Japanese-style sweet potato dessert that brings out the mild sweetness.
