On the 2nd floor of the south and north wings of Terminal 1, there are quarantine booths, security checkpoints and immigration booths. When coming from the south wing to the 1st floor of Terminal 1, you will come out of the South Arrival Gate. When coming from the north wing, you will come out of the North Arrival Gate. On the 1st floor of Terminal 1, there is the baggage claim area, baggage service, customs, and animal and plant quarantine. After passing through customs, you will exit to the arrivals lobby on the 1st floor. In the arrivals lobby, there is a baggage delivery service counter (baggage drop off), temporary baggage storage facilities, the ANA north arrivals information counter, as well as public telephones, smoking rooms, toilets, elevators and escalators. Passengers connecting to Japan domestic flights should proceed to the 2nd floor of Terminal 1. On the 2nd floor, there are ANA domestic check-in counters, temporary baggage storage facilities, a police box, an information counter, toilets, lactation rooms, public telephones, and ATMs.

Quarantine

All passengers arriving from Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Yan-gon, Bombay, and Denpasar are asked to submit the "Questionnaire."

Immigration

Please present your passport and immigration card.

Baggage Claim

Claim your baggage from the carousel of your flight.
Passengers connecting to domestic flights should claim their baggage and check it in once again at the Domestic Connection Counter.

Customs

Customers with goods to declare must turn in their Customs Declaration forms at the customs.

On the 2nd floor of Terminal 1, there are the Kansai Airport stations for the JR and Nankai lines, with ticket machines located nearby. There is a multi-storey parking garage adjacent to the station. There are also ANA domestic check-in counters, the ANA Lounge, a police box, temporary baggage storage facilities, an information counter, toilets, a smoking room, lactation rooms, public telephones, and ATMs. Passengers connecting to international flights should go up to the 4th floor of Terminal 1. By going up to the 4th floor, you will arrive at the departure lobby entrance. On the 4th floor, there are ANA check-in and ticketing counters, security and the priority security lane (Fast Lane). ANA counters are located in Zone A. The priority security lane is only available for Business Class passengers and ANA Diamond Service members. Near the check-in counters, there is a temporary baggage storage facility and a baggage delivery service counter (baggage pick up). There are also toilets, lactation rooms, smoking rooms, information counters, and a Business Center providing fax and international telephone services. After passing through security, proceed to the 3rd floor of Terminal 1. On the 3rd floor, there are immigration booths. After passing through immigration, you will enter the departure concourse. On the 3rd floor, there are toilets, public telephones, and a smoking room. Passengers boarding at Gates 1 to 16 or 26 to 41 should proceed to the Wing Shuttle stops for the north wing or south wing respectively. By using the Wing Shuttle, you can go to the stop closest to your boarding gate (Intermediate Station or Final Station).

Wing Shuttle

The wing shuttle is an unmanned vehicle running automatically between the passenger terminal building and south/north wings. The stations are located in the south and north parts of the international transit lounge. The two wing shuttles run from the wing shuttle station building to the terminal station and to the midway station, respectively. Please choose the destination according to your boarding gate number.

Check-in

Submit your ticket and passport at the ANA check-in counter. Check in baggage and receive boarding pass.

Security Check

Go through the security search and x-ray inspection.

Priority lanes for security check : Fast Lane

Eligibility for usage of Fast Lane

  • Business class customers
  • ANA Diamond Service members (accompanied by one travel companion is available by entering together)

Please present your boarding pass and the fast lane ticket which you will receive upon check-in. If you have completed the check-in by online check-in or by using an International Self-Service Check-in machine, proceed to the fast lane after receiving the fast lane ticket at the check-in counter of Kansai International Airport.
