Notice Regarding the Pilot Program for the Pre-arrival Information System for Foreigners Entering Vietnam

The Vietnam Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security has launched a pilot program for the "Pre-arrival Information" system for foreign nationals entering Vietnam.

While registration is voluntary, it is recommended to declare personal information prior to entry to ensure a more efficient and expedited immigration clearance process.

1. Eligible Travelers 

All non-Vietnamese passport holders (Foreign nationals only)

2. Eligible Airports

・Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City)

・Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi)

*Please note that the program is scheduled to expand sequentially to other international airports in Vietnam.

3. Registration Procedures

(1) Pre-Declaration 

Declarations can be made on the dedicated website starting 3 days prior to entry.

(2) Immigration Clearance 

Please present the QR code received upon completion (either as a smartphone screenshot or a printed copy) at the immigration counter.

(3) Important Notes 

There are no fees or credit card information required for this registration. Please be cautious of fraudulent websites or unauthorized agencies charging high fees.
