ANA Carbon Offset program seeks to reduce CO2 emissions to zero through voluntary customer funding of tree-planting activities for cultivating forests which will absorb the CO2 (carbon dioxide) emitted when using an airplane.

Miyagi Prefecture is currently reconstructing from the Great East Japan Earthquake. In Minamisanriku Town, we are working together with locals to cultivate a flourishing forest through the ANA's kokoro no mori a forest. The e-flight 2013 program sells ANA original pin badges and puzzles created by Minamisanriku residents using wood trimmed from the “ANA’s kokoro no mori a forest in the town of Minamisanriku, Miyagi Prefecture”.
