ANA PILOTS' UNION STRIKE CONTINUES
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TOKYO-14 April 1998 All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (ANA)has been notified by its pilots' union, All Nippon Airways Crew Association (ACA)--composed of 1,380 pilots and flight engineers--that it will take strike action commencing from 6 April.
ANA deeply regrets the inconvenience caused by the continuing pilots' union strike affecting many customers. There have been 54 flight cancellations affecting 10,600 people until today. ANA's international services to be further affected by the strike are as follows:

Pilots have begun strike, targeting B747-400 international flights commencing at one minute after midnight on 6 April.
The strike threat will be continued until further notice. |
