ANA PILOTS' UNION STRIKE SUSPENDED


FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TOKYO-1 April 1998 All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (ANA),

has been notified by its pilots' union, All Nippon Airways Crew Association (ACA)--composed of 1,380 pilots and flight engineers--that it will temporarily suspend its strike starting at one minute after midnight on 21 April.
ANA deeply regrets the inconvenience caused by the continuing pilots' union strike affecting many customers.
ANA's international services will be affected until April 23, regardless of the suspension of the strike.
Some of ANA's international services affected by the strike has been fixed as follows:

APR 22 (WED) 12 cancellations out of 44 normal operations, affecting 2,500 people

NH 006 (Narita~Los Angeles) NH 005 (Los Angeles~Narita)
NH 901 (Narita~Singapore) NH 902 (Singapore~Narita)
NH 915 (Narita~Bangkok) NH 916 (Bangkok~Narita)
NH 207 (Narita~Paris via Vienna) NH 206 (Paris~Narita)
NH 1223 (Kansai~Frankfurt) NH 1224 (Frankfurt~Kansai)
APR 23 (THU) 6 cancellations out of 46 normal operations, affecting 1,400 people

The total number of flights cancelld will be 120, affecting 25,300 passengers until Apr. 23.

After April 24, all international flights will be operated normally.
