TOKYO-8 June 1998 All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (ANA) announced to introduce 2 specially painted aircraft (B747-400 and B767) into domestic services from 2 July, featuring cartoon characters from the children's most popular TV program in Japan "Pocket Monster"!!!

The "ANA Pocket Monster Jet" will be colorfully painted with different kinds of characters, even rare and new ones, from the cartoon and is sure to capture the attention of all children. The cartoon "Pocket Monster" is known for having as many as 151 kinds of different characters which can perform all kinds of miracles.

Onboard the "ANA Pocket Monster Jet", ANA's cabin attendants will welcome you wearing original aprons, and paper cups and head rest covers will be specially designed with different characters from "Pocket Monster." Together with the screening of two "Pocket Monster" movies during summer vacation (scheduled from 18 July through 31 August), one movie will be shown on the ANA SKY VISION VIDEO PROGRAM, enhancing the popularity of ANA fans together with "Pocket Monster" fans.
