Golden Week Holiday Passenger Traffic Forecast
- international reservations surpass last year’s record -

TOKYO, April 20, 2007 - ANA Group today announced its passenger traffic forecast for Golden Week 2007, which runs from Friday, April 27 to Sunday, May 6, inclusive.

Domestic reservations show a four percent year-on-year increase, with destinations in Okinawa, Japan’s southernmost chain of islands, evidencing growth of more than 20% compared with Golden Week 2006.

International reservations are at an all time high, reaching almost 134,000 – a 10% increase over last year, which was itself a record breaker. Destinations in China – to which ANA has been flying for 20 years this year – account for over one quarter of international passengers.

1) Golden Week is one of Japan’s most famous holiday periods and encompasses a series of four national holidays in more or less succession: Green Day, Constitution Day, Citizen’s Day and Children’s Day.
