Golden Week Holiday Passenger Figures
- international passenger total beats previous year’s record -
- increased domestic passengers -

TOKYO, May 7, 2007 -ANA Group today announced increased passengers across the board for the Golden Week holiday period, which ran from April 27 to May 6, 2007.

The total number of passengers taking domestic flights increased more than four percentage points compared with the previous Golden Week, buoyed by the introduction of the promotional fare, New Tabiwari, and good weather. Okinawa proved a particularly popular destination with around 20% more passengers flying than in Golden Week 2006.

The number of passengers carried on international routes broke the previous record set in 2006, with an increase of over 6%. Of the approximately 130,000 passengers taking international flights, 54,000, or over 40%, had China as their destination. ANA celebrated 20 years of flying to China on April 16 this year.
