TOKYO November 15, 2007 -From December 1 this year ANA will raise the bar for its popular Premium Economy with products and services designed to enhance the customer experience on the ground and in the air. At their departure airport, once checked-in at the exclusive Premium Economy counter, customers will be able to enjoy access to ANA’s award-winning business class lounges at Tokyo’s Narita airport, as well as lounges at London Heathrow, New York Kennedy and Washington Dulles airports. At Frankfurt, Paris, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago, customers will be given vouchers for refreshments. On arrival, Premium Economy customers’ bags will receive priority at airport collection points, and customers arriving in or departing from Japan will have the option of free delivery of one piece of luggage per person in one direction: to their home or hotel form their arrival airport, or from their home or hotel to their airport of choice. On board, noise-cancelling headsets will improve customer enjoyment of ANA’s on-demand inflight entertainment. Eye-mask, ear plugs, a moisture retaining face-mask and toothbrush along with a larger blanket will ensure superior comfort during the flight. Between December 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008 customers will be able to enjoy the enhanced Premium Economy for less, thanks to the introduction of new fares. Ecowari Premium Light - in addition to the already available Ecowari Premium discount fare - gives customers the opportunity to fly from Japan to the West Coast of the United States from ¥240,000* return, or to Europe from ¥247,000* return. Further discounts are available by booking online, and details of fares are available on ANA Skyweb: www.ana.co.jp/eng
Premium Economy was first introduced in 2002 and forms part of the standard cabin line-up on the ANA intercontinental fleet of Boeing 747-400s and 777-300ERs, which ply the skies of London, Frankfurt, Paris, New York, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles from Tokyo Narita.
