Passenger Traffic for Winter Vacation 2007

TOKYO January 7, 2008 - Passenger numbers for the winter vacation period from December 28, 2007 to January 6, 2008, inclusive, for airlines within the ANA Group* were as follows:

Domestic passengers fell 3.1 percentage points, attributed partly to unfavorable weather conditions, which led to 143 flight cancellations. Okinawa continued to be the most popular destination for travellers within Japan.

The number of international passengers rose 5.1% to a record 142,000**. Asian destinations proved the most popular, with passengers up by 10.3%, closely followed by China (up 9.6%). Destinations in North America showed 5.1% growth, and Europe 3.7%.
